Itinerary

Day 1

Ho Chi Minh City: Arrival and pleasurable leisure time

On arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, also known as HCMC, an HC representative will welcome you with the warmth of Vietnamese hospitality. You will then be escorted to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and wash away your journey fatigue. Rest of the day is at leisure. So, you can choose to relax your weary self at the hotel or explore the city on your own. You can also try authentic treats such as pho (the legendary rice-noodle soup), Bo la lot (spicy ground beef rolls wrapped in betel leaves), and seafood.

After enjoying your first day, return to the hotel for a soothing sleep.

Day 2

Ho Chi Minh City: Enjoy a day at historical marvels

Break your night long ‘fast’ with a hearty breakfast and set off to be acquainted with the history of HCMC with a guide. First up is Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace. Up next are Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and the War Remnants Museum. After allowing these attractions to overtake you, take a lunch break at a local restaurant.

Next part of the day’s trip will take you to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels included in this Ho Chi Minh City itinerary 2 days. These tunnels are the silent spectators of the demanding life soldiers of Vietnam War lived here. Prior to entering these underpasses, you will be provided with a short introduction. An explanatory video showing the construction of these tunnels and the survival of people in war times follows. Explore the tunnel network, which will take you to bedrooms, kitchens, martial facilities, and other features of the erstwhile underground life. Also, visit hidden booby traps that were laid in this maze.

Later, refresh yourself with a special tea and cassava. Cassava was guerilla’s food during the war. If you want to try hands-on shooting, go ahead or simply relax. Now, come back to the hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 3

Phu Quoc: Arrival and free time

Arise to a lovely breakfast and check out from the hotel. Today, you will be taken to Phu Quoc – the paradise island, off the coast of Cambodia in the Gulf of Thailand. After smooth transfer to the airport, catch your flight to Phu Quoc. Once you reach this island group, check – into the resort and unwind according to your tour. Here, you can enjoy leisure time to the most as the island is splashed with the pristine beauty of nature’s excellence and myriad activities.

Soak up the sun on the white sand beaches, kissed every now and then by the tropical sea or let the Vietnamese culture enlighten you. After partaking in the serenity around, return to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 4

Phu Quoc: Enjoy a leisure day

Begin the morning with a lovely breakfast and plan how you would be enjoying this leisure day. The island paradise has a host of attractions to keep you intrigued, apart from beach activities. So, get, set, go to the fun-filled attractions on your own that await your arrival here. Nature lovers can explore hotspots like Suoi Da Ban and Suoi Tranh (waterfalls), pepper and cashew nut plantations, and Mount Chua. You can also visit various landmarks here such as Dinh Cau Rock (Cua Temple), Coconut Tree Prison (Nha Lao Cay Dua Prison), and War Memorial.

Day 5

Phu Quoc: Another free day to delight in

After re-energizing yourself with a wholesome breakfast, set off for another indulgent leisure day. You can begin your day with visits to historical and cultural places like Sung Hung Pagoda, Hung Long Tu Pagoda, and Legend of the Magic Well. Visiting Phu Quoc National Park is also a good idea.

For love of that adrenaline rush, you can take up water activities like squid fishing, jet-skiing, wind sailing, snorkelling, and scuba diving. Shopaholics can head to the early-morning Duong Dong Market and buy authentic items. After a happening day, return to the resort for a cosy night stay.
